While working through some images from our James Blair Murdoch Photographs, we noticed a familiar volume.  The 1936 photographs at the top show a woman at Milwaukee-Downer College cleaning a volume of 14th-17th century Italian choir music.

This same volume is now housed up in uwmspeccoll and is currently on display!

Wow! Thanks uwmarchives.

Anyone know what’s in that bottle? Because it sure as heck doesn’t look like water. The bottle she’s got sitting directly on top of the parchment, no big deal, not like it could totally get knocked over and spill everywhere….
