Walter Fawcett was a commercial artist who designed advertisements, book covers, and also provided illustrations for a few books. In a 1928 magazine announcement, he was listed as a member of the design firm, Fuller & Smith, whose logo he also designed.
Per announcements in the magazine, "Printers' Ink", Fawcett also worked for the firm of Erin, Wasey & Company, as well as for the Campbell-Ewald Company.
