How to find your designer on this page

More information about how the monograms and designs were attributed to their respective designers is available on the References page.

Several of the monograms below are known from several different book covers, but the actual identity of their artists is yet to be confirmed. If you have any information that could help reveal their identies, please do not hesitate to contact me via email!

The first list is arranged by the name of the designer - many of them used monograms (and some had several different ones over the course of their careers, which are available on each designer's page), but not all of them signed their work in this way.

The second list is arranged by the initials of the monograms used - some of the same single initials and letter combinations were used by multiple artists, so this is a helpful way to search if you aren't certain which artist was responsible for a book cover signed with the letter 'H' or 'S'.
